I'm usually already on the phone when telemarketers actually get me on the phone. Since I don't yet have ADSI-based Call-Waiting-ID, I don't know who's beeping in. When I realize that it is a telemarketer after flashing over, I tell them that they've beeped into my other call, and for them to hold on, so I can 'clear the other call'. I flash back to my original call, and never go back to the telemarketer. Eventually (about two or three min's later), I hear the loud clicking indicating that they'd hung up, and my line was back to being able to get further beeps in the conversation. When the #1AESS switch serving my home is upgraded to a DMS (God-forbid), or a #5ESS (both digital), I won't have all of that 'clicking' anymore, however. MARK J.
