Can someone help me with a problem. I need to edit large files (400K)
containing non-text characters. I need to be able to save them with
changes. Is there a (preferably freeware) program that'll let me do
it?

I'm using DOS/Windows 3.1. Neither the DOS edit program nor my Word
Perfect 5.1 programs will allow this size file to be edited. The
problem with World Perfect is that when it sees the first ^Z, it
thinks it's the end of the file.

Suggestions would be appreciated. but please email them to me as I'm
not regularly on this group.

Thanks, Mykel Board (mykelB@ix.netcom.com)
