I have a CD full of Atari ST software. There are a bunch of files in .msa, which is cool, others are in .zip, .st, .lzh etc. but the format I know nothing about is this .dim, which most of my favorite stuff seems to be in. How do I convert this to a normal disk, does anyone know? Thanks for any help. -Satcom2

Windows95.com has a link for this shareware program, but I can't imagine someone would've taken Atari disks and made PC disk images out of them. Depending on the program, they may be written back to a floppy or individual files may be extracted. I know no program for Atari that can extract individual files and the PC ones can do this only from disk images that comply to the PC standard. Otherwise use either E-copy or Fastcopy, most probably the images were created with one of them and they should be able to recognise their own format. Maciek

On the subject of a PC copying ST disks, try VGA Copy 6.23 ! It copies 1 in 2 disks into image files which have to be unpacked and renamed to .ST files - but they work OK under Pacifist. Try: www.fatal-design.com/desktop for more information and/or their ftp site (ftp.fatal-design.com) - the program is in the pub/PC section.
