You might try the package EZD (a scheme based structured graphics
toolkit - server). It is callable from C. It was produced by
Joel Bartlett last at bartlett@decwrl.dec.com. With the changes at
DEC of late I do not know if that is still a valid address. Maybe
you can find the package via archie. I have used it from xview
and found it to be very well done.
