I would like to know, how many R3D user are there (reading this groups). Please reply. If you want give some information about the version you are using and why/whatfor you are using R3D. If there are more than 10 replies I will compose a summary for comp.graphics.animation. Thanks, Boris. (glass@cip.iwr.uni-heidelberg.de)

I use Real3D v3 exclusively for my 3D stills and animation. Why? 1) The render output is VERY clean. 2) The animation tools are state-of-the-art, the price tag isn't. 3) Creative effects that don't come in a can, with a programming language to boot. 4) There are no modules to keep jumping from. All modelling, textures & animation are all done in the same place. No more "oops...i meant to load the SHAPER, not the LOFTER..." 5) particles, particles, particles just one man's opinion. andy makely ...the rendermouse http://www.mindspring.com/~makely

I just bought Real3D V2.47 used after having used Imagine V3.0
for about a year. Real3D just seems so much more powerful and it
gives better uotput too. I have not learend that much yet but from
what I have seen so far it seems to be the king of Amiga rendering
packages.

I am a new Real 3D user! I got the coverdisk version (v1.4) from one of the UK mags (I think it was Amiga Format). Personally, I've always thought the images produced by the program were the _BEST_ of any rendering packages for the Amiga. Unfortunately, price was rather prohibitive :-( However, now, at least I can play around with it and learn to create some really cool stuff! :-) Now, if they could just lower the price... :-) Paul Castle.
