This is my first semester in the M.S. in I.S. My background is accounting, and
I have very little experience with computers. In my undergrad, I worked with Lo
tus and a couple toher accounting packages. I feel that I am not as computer li
terate as I should be. I would like to know if computer literacy, to the extent
of programming, is necessary, or would a knowledge of systems design and
related concepts be sufficient to enable me to be a competent systems analyst.
