We are in an intranet envioronment and swing has done wonders for us. We
haven't had to sign anything, although we have some times, but it has not
been required. We do however, exclusively use Netscape 3 & 4. As far as
the swing jar file, we have set up are netscape, which is served off of an
application server with the Java Plugin. That way, no one has to download
and install the plug-in. All they have to do is run the Control Panel and
set their plug-in preferences.
