Basically, you can't do this.

As another poster pointed out, bind operations are vendor specific
extensions to CORBA that are implemented using proprietary technology.

More specifically, I am not aware of any ORB that implements another 
ORB vendor's bind protocols.  That includes Iona's bind.

You would be well advised to use an OMG standard mechanism for
locating object references; e.g. CosNaming, CosTrader.  These
should be interoperable between ORBs once you have sussed out
how to locate the service.
