Cad components - EZCAD, TCAD

I'm looking a CAD component for a program used to create plant
schematics. Important issue is needs a link object that had From/To
properties so can programmatically extract connectivity.

EZCAD and TCAD both look contenders. Anyone with experience to
comment either way on these?
