I'm having problems changing the 'Vendor Init' Parameter of BDE's ORACLE driver. I'm using the correct BDE API procedures, but they constantly refuse to recognize the existence of this parameter. It might be that it doesn't appear in IDAPI32.CFG, but that raises some other question marks... Any Ideas ? Amit

You need to install the requisite Oracle support files first...you can then select from the drop-down-listbox any of the appropriate oracle DLLs. They are typically things like ORA7WIN.DLL, ORA73WIN.DLL, etc. In short, your problem is probably a lack of properly installed oracle client software.
