IUSR needs pretty much full access to the Winnt\System directory.  The BDE
tries to create/write/delete temporary files in that directory.  The name
escapes me right now but there is a utility that will let you see exactly
where and what these files are.

When you open Access table one file is temporary written on disk.
Something like recordlocking. Put your mdb file on disk with write
access and check BDE settings.

Hi Doug and everybody using the BDE in CGI's or ISAPI DLL's,

I found out what the problem was. My provider has the http directories
on the D: drive. By giving full-access to IUSR on D: and then slowly
removing the permissions we found out that the IUSR needed list
permissions in the root of D:. The DatabaseName in my CGI app is a path
to a directory on D: that contains DBF files (where the IUSR has full
access). Weird that the BDE needs a list permission there but now it
works at last.
