You need to set a Private directory for the tdatabase object, and make sure
every workstation has the same Net Dir setting in its alias.  That is, every
workstation must point to the same folder on the network.  The Inprise support
database has an item on this, but its exact number escapes me.

First it is not a logfile but a lockfile. Paradox uses this file to maintain 
information who uses (and locks) which table. Borland wrote some TIs about this 
and it would be better for you to read them than to read my explanation :-)

I myself have not succeeded completely in mastering the subject. What bothers 
me is the 'network initialization failure' which is connected with is connected 
to PDOXUSERS.LCK and PDOXUSERS.NET too. Good luck!

If I understood the writings correctly, the private dir is used for tempfiles 
and can be whatever you like. The netdir is the same on every machine (NT 
network with TCP/IP), but still ... this message appears (but not on every 
machine).
