Hi !

The problem is, of course, to paint only a portion of a bitmap as one item is
to be repainted. What you could do, is creating another bitmap with the size
of the Listbox, and paint the bmp on this. As you draw one item, you use a
CopyRect or BitBlt call to copy the appropriate background portion into your
canvas. It has a cost, the extra size of the bmp in memory, but you won't be
able to avoid this anyway, I guess.
