Delphi string constants: how to change? (Repost)

I'm working on a French version of an app originally developed with
the English version of Delphi 1.

My question:
How can I change the language specific string constants used by
Delphi? (E.g. the strings used to label the 'Yes' / 'No' / 'Abort'
... buttons in MessageDlg)

Thanks for any hints!

Thomas

look for the source files with 'consts' in the name. translate the
messages, (backup)
put translated file in lib-directory, recompile et voila.
I think there are some pretranslated files, try Torry's, or Borland
the messagedlg captions ar in consts.pas, from 'SOKButton' downward

STS, now I see you're using delphi 1, i'm not sure if it's the same
there....

Copy the file 'consts.pas' from the Source\VCL directory to your project
directory.
Translate the strings.
Rebuild your project.

Marco.
