Dear all,

I am looking for a Pascal programmer who can turn the C64 BOULDERDASH sounds
into 8 bit VOC (Soundblaster) format, to help me finish off my 2 player
boulderdash game.

I can't pay the programmer for his work, because I'm working unpaid as
well: )

(Except with credits in my program.)

This Boulderdash game will be the only FREEWARE 2 player PC boulderdash game
I am aware of (Emerald mines is shareware) and so interest has been high.

If you fit the bill, and want to be a part of it, send me a mail.

Thanks.

Are these discrete sound files? If so maybe SOX will have a go
at it. I have no idea of the native sound format of a C64
(I leapt from a PET to a VAX mainframe) but if it resembles
anything current (VOC, WAV, AU, AIFF etc.) then the SOX source
code may give you some hints.
I eagerly await the finished product....

I have the waveforms available for each sound. It's just that converting it
to Soundblaster code is beyond what I'm prepared to study.

P.S.

The game is very nearly finished: it has a demo mode, plays caves etc. If
you want a copy, then send me an email.

Even better, I need web sites to host it because the volume of mail I've
been getting is UNREAL (almost 200 messages in 10 days - I kid you not)

Regards to all
Scott
