To make a long theory short. It goes like this. Person A grew up lonely and isolated, abandon at birth, person A was depressed. However, this gives Person A the advantage of not being tied down to anything. So person A get's hired to do some time traveling (like Time Cop) to prevent alterations in the past. In a particular mission he falls in love with someone and they have a child. However the mother died while giving birth. Now Person A has to return the future, but he can't take the kid with him so he abandons him. Not knowing that the kid is actually him. See how this is a paradox. Of course this is a very simplified version and I left out a lot of stuff because I don't have the time to write it all out.
