I gave access a try, and had real problems. years ago I did some queries, scripts, etc in paradox for dos (?3.0?) so had some experience with import/export etc. just nothing seemed to work. I'd set up a relationship, but the queries seemed very hard to set up. then I'd get the data, but it struck me as hard to export as tab-deliminated for some reason, don't recall. fmp is nice and "gui", looks great. I just don't understand why they use a "file" system, why not just use tables, queries like the rest of the world? just creates confusion, IMHO normally I don't cross-post, but this is a follow up. -- Jesse jcs.ng@asu.edu Ken Hince Jr wrote: > I use both ACCESS and FMPRO, and to export between them I use the "tab > separated text" file format.
