Is there a tool available that converts a PostScript 1 font into bdf or snf font? Specifically I want to preview dvi files using PostScript fonts with xdvi which uses bdf or snf fonts. I have tried pstopk and then mftobdf, but mftobdf gave me core dump. I also heard about ps2mf, though I cannot find it on archie. But a straight ps to bdf converter should work best.
