The latest and greatest ghostview can always be found on ftp.cs.wisc.edu
(128.105.8.18) in the pub/X/ghostview.tar.Z file.  It propagates to
prep.ai.mit.edu and its mirrors shortly after appearing there.
You are welcome to use ftp.cs.wisc.edu at anytime.  You already have
the latest release (1.3).

The problem is that the documents do not have the proper comments.
The file must begin with %!PS-Adobe- for ghostview to even attempt to
read the comments.  People have written several perl and sed scripts to
help avoid some of the shortcomings in Framemake documents.
People are asking that Framemaker produce the proper comments.
Call Frame and tell them you want comments that conform to Adobe's Document
Structuring Convention in the PostScript files.
