In my past experience, I've had problems scanning in an image, saving
it as a postscript file, and then moving it between Mac and PC. Now,
keep it simple for me, I'm not a computer god. Something that had
been scanned in on one platform, and then put onto a storage medium
accessable both by Mac and PC machines, would work and function fully,
allowing editing in the proper programs, etc, on the platform under
which it was scanned. However, using the other platform to work with
it lost the preview (in such applications as Pagemaker after placing)
and also it couldn't be retrieved to edit. However, it would print
fine (such as from PM).

Is there any way to easily move scanned images from one platform to
another, if the forms (TIFF, etc) are useable, such as through a
transfer (AFX didn't work for the above mentioned scenario... same
problem) program or such?
