2-sided printing w/o crinkling?

I have a postscript laser printer (TI Microlaser Plus). I can print
double-sided by first printing the odd pages, then putting the output back into
the input tray, and printing the even pages. But when I do this I get a very
high percentage of crinkled pages. (The first time through, the output is
fine. But the second time through, crinkling occurs.) What can I do to avoid
this? The only thing I can think of is to use a different kind of paper.
What kind is best for this purpose?
