Netters,

Two questions for instrumentation expert

1) I am about to look into a couple of lab instrument control programs. The two
   I have in mind are HP's VEE and National's LabView. Does anyone have
   any experience with either of these packages ? I'm thinking of controlling
   instrumentation on both VXI and IEEE 488 and I'd like to get an idea on 
   how easy they are to use and install.

2) VXI vs IEEE488. I'd like to get some information on your 
   experiences with either of these two instrument control busses.
