We use modelsim for linux and solaris but the price of modelsim SE is
almost 2.9M yen (22.5K dollars @120yen/$) and also we have to pay
thousands dalliers as the license fee every year.

 The modelsim VHDL simulater is pretty good but we would like to use
additional cheaper VHDL simulator than the modelsim. Then, we do not
need fancy debugging tools for the cheaper VHDL simulator.

 Does someone know a VHDL simulator that the price is below 10K
dollars for linux and solaris ?
