Is there some version of (or fix to) sendmail that handles addresses of the
forms:
* @<host>:<address>
* @<host0>,@<host1>,...@<hostn>:<address>
Both forms (as addresses) resolve incorrectly. The second form, if found in
the From line, causes an unknown host error when delivered by sendmail. The
first form does not give our sendmail (version with 4.2bsd) any problem when
it is in the From line.
I hope that all that needs to be updated is a ruleset or two.
If the fix actually helps routing based on the @...: list, that would be
nice, but one that ignores the prefix would be just as satisfactory at the
moment.
