>we would have to take to post such widespread notices?

Nope. In fact, if you even attempt to post to every news group or anything
close to spread the word you will be the next anti-christ online. Everyone
who has done this has had thousands of pieces of hate email, snail mail,
FAX machines jammed, harrasing phone calls, etc... Not something you
want to do.

There is *no* effective way to reach the entire Internet population that
is acceptable to the community.

Oh, spamming also tends to get all of your posts deleted. There are
robots online that do nothing but delete posts from users who do that kind
of thing.

Also, cold email (sending email directly about a venture like this) is
STRONGLY opposed. It is junk mail.

So any way to reach everyone will simply ruin your firms reputation, not
just online either, it tends to reach the the popular press in the end.

Sorry.

The best you can do is setup a Web page and hope people come to you.
Register with all the search engines, etc...
