ICCE '93 is to provide a forum for scientific interchange among
computer scientists, educators, and cognitive scientists through-
out the world, especially from the Asia-Pacific region, on a broad
spectrum of inter-disciplinary research topics, focusing on the
theory and technologies of applying computers in education. Also,
it is hoped that the conference can intrigue the topic of the impact
on designing intelligent educational software due to the difference
in culture and philosophy of education between Asia and the West.
There will be tutorials and invited talks on the state of the art
of the area and demonstrations of working systems, prototypes,
and selected commercial products.
