Sendmail.cf problem?

In the address header I have noticed that it puts:

	From: root@ECONOMATICS (<michael@ECONOMATICS>)

It should put:

	From: michael@economatics.co.uk

How can I change this?

Thank you in advance
Michael

Michael,
I was having a similar problem, until someone told me yesterday that I
should check my /etc/hosts file. economatics.co.uk should follow the ip
address in that file. I had "server.company.com" then "company.com"
and all I wanted was "kjcox@company.com". I just reversed the two.
Check this and see if it works. I'm just a newbie myself.
Hope that helps.
KJ

Ordinarily, the "From:" header is supplied by your Mail User Agent (e.g.,
Outlook or Eudora), not by sendmail. What are you using to compose the
mail?

You probably want to use masquerading.

Put `MASQUERADE_AS(economatics.co.uk)' in your sendmail m4 config file and
rebuild sendmail.cf
