I need to select a portable computer that is capable of handling the
larger cards found with Multi-media (i.e. ATVista). This type of computer
is boxy and is sometimes referred to as a lunchbox. 486-50 with 3 open
16-bit slots, color monitor, etc. Please give me suggestions as to which
brand names of "lunch boxes" to check out/avoid. I know Compaq has a line
but that has only two open 16-bit and I believe 1 8-bit. There are several
clones out there but I wouldn't know which to go with. Thank you.
