Am I missing something?  In what way are the local chapters _not_ self-
supporting?  The only support I've ever had from ACM has been a set of
mailing labels every couple of years, the occasional set of (national)
membership materials, and the negligible cost of the lectureship
program, the one time we managed to use it.

Does ACM provide any other support to chapters that I should know
about?
