The November meeting of the CNY DECUS LUG will repeat the format offered the
past four years, especially for those of you who have not attended a regional
or national DECUS symposium. We would like you to get a hint of what you might
gain by attending one of these large DECUS meetings. To this end we are
holding an all-day meeting on Tuesday, 17 November, at the Skydeck (6th floor)
of the Carousel Center, on the shore of Onondaga Lake in Syracuse. As in the
past, the program will have a variety of topics designed to appeal to both
administrators and decision makers as well as to technical users. It will
again include a demonstration area. Attendees will be free to attend either
of two streams of presentations. This year's attendees should find the program
being planned, which covers a variety of new computing technologies, to be as
timely, informative and stimulating as any we have held. Our tentative program
is listed below. of this page.
We plan to have at least some of the products that we will be presenting up
and running after the sessions, when you may meet with our speakers to get the
answers to those questions you didn't have a chance to ask during the
presentation.
