It will never exist, because Rockwell requires a Non-Disclosure
Agreement before telling you how to use the hardware they sell.

Take your (half-) modem back to the store and *demand* a complete
refund. Because Rockwell requires the NDA, your (half-) modem can
never be supported by any operating system for which source is
distributed, nor can it be supported in any program like kermit for
which source is distributed. Companies that require a NDA agreement
before telling you how to use the hardware they make or sell deserve
to be boycotted *forever*.

See:	http://www-scf.usc.edu/~khendric/info/useful.html

For information on why RPI is technically a very bad idea, see the
recurring thread in comp.dcom.modems, or Frank da Cruz's Kermit pages.
(I don't have an exact pointer to the RPI section of the Kermit pages
because Columbia is down as I write this.) John Navas also recommends
against the purchase of any RPI modem in his excellent modem pages.

Bottom line:

	- Boycott Rockwell modem products forever.

	- Get a modem that doesn't use any Rockwell chips. Some
possibilities include USR, AT&T, and Motorola. (Be careful,
as some of their modems use Rockwell chips. You want one that
	  has no Rockwell products whatsoever.)

Flames from Rockwell employees and other ignorant people will be
cheerfully routed to /dev/null. Followups have been re-directed to
comp.dcom.modems, which is a more appropriate forum for this discussion.
