Assuming your system has a PnP BIOS you should be ok, as long as the
PnP BIOS knows about all the non-PnP hardware in your system. If the PnP
BIOS has not be told what resources are used by your ISA I/O card then
it will assign the I/O addresses and IRQs used by that ISA card to
the PnP cards it finds.

In a PnP BIOS there is an option to allocate resources to ISA cards,
for example on IRQs you typically get a menu which lists all the IRQs and
lets you assign them to ISA (ie. non-PnP cards), PnP or PCI. Sometimes the
ISA setting is referred to as "disabled" or "unavailable". (This depends on
the PnP BIOS, since I haven't used an Award PnP BIOS I don't know how they
describe this option.)

Once the PnP BIOS knows what resources (IRQs, DMA channels, I/O
addresses) are used by non-PnP hardware it can then correctly assign resources
to the PnP devices without any conflicts.
