Depends on what you call stable - ive had an uptime of 3 months on a 1.3.45
kernel that runs as an internet router. I had to reboot it due to hardware
reconfiguration.
Ive not had any more recent kernel crash on my other systems either. 1.3.80
ran for 2 weeks under heavy load on my main system. It crashed when I
accidently knocked the power out of one of my scsi drives, and then only
when the system tried to access the drive.
Just because its a 'development series' kernel, doesnt mean some versions
are not stable. Dont compile in the experimental drivers and 1.3.x can be
quite stable.
