What version of Netscape are you using?  Send me a list of some of the web
sites that give you problems so I can look at them.  I personally believe that
this is related to pages that are designed with HTML or ActiveX (Yes the
latest version of Netscape--4.61 [at least in Windows]--appears to have
ActiveX support built in instead of requiring a plugin) controls that can only
be used by Microsoft's browser.  I have seen similar behavior at specific
websites in both Windows and Linux wth Netscape Communicator.  However the web
sites display just fine in IE.

Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine and ActiveX system are so intertwined in
their browser for Windows, that I believe that Microsoft makes them dependent
on each other even though they offer a separate scripting engine and supposed
JAva Virtual Machine.
