No, no, no, no, no. I'm sure the poster was referring to the Riley Elf
produced by BMC (now Rover) from October '61 to August '69 along with the
Wolseley Hornet. They were derivatives of the ever popular Mini (formerly
the Austin Seven). The Elf had a larger boot (trunk), better facia and larger
brakes. The Elf worked by means of the internal combustion engine. :-)
