Hello all, I am trying to set up my linux box for dial out ppp connection to my ISP, my providor has dynamic IP allocation and does not prompt me for login or password, i have set up my modem and tested it using minicom and it connects ok (the pc speaker makes pretty sounds etc), then i see garbage on the screen, so this is working. When i try to connect using pppd my log says that connect script has failed. I have heard that a script for this type of ISP is easy but I have no experience, could anyone help me with this ? maybe a sample script or something would be nice. HELP!! Thanks, Richard Ashton.
