:though. At the very least you'd need to have Ghostscript up and running to
:convert the file to whatever format the printer accepts. I don't know
:offhand if Ghostscript has appropriate drivers for an Apple StyleWriter.

macgs will nicely drive any printer with a chooser driver.
As of version 5.10 (?) (about a year ago) there was no way to automate
the process unfortunately.  I believe it is being actively developed
however, so go pester the author.. <g>

Oddly some older versions were set up to direct print, not
view, but they were exceptionally buggy.

Then what we need is someone to hack maclpr to pass the incoming file
off to gs.. All set. <g>


btw. the macgs skip-view-and-print command is  hidden (undocumented) as
an option-menu item.
