Hola a todo el grupo: La pregunta es simple. Mi problema es como puedo administrar las conecciones de un proveedor de internet por medio de Linux?. A donde va la pregunta es hacia la topologa, sobre todo: como organizo las lineas telefnicas (lineas rotativas) y los mdems (cuantos necesito, etc. etc.) para que mi Linux trabaje sin problemas. Si alguien tiene algo de informacin (links, notas, o simplemente sabe algo), por fabor que me escriba. Desde ya les agradezco su atencin. -- Rubn Sergianni. Villa Carlos Paz - Crdoba - Argentina

Well, I am not sure how many of you speak spanish well. I do ok... at least in reading, sometimes in writing. I probably am not the best to answer this persons questions but here is basically his question in English. * begin translation * Hello to all the group: The question is simple. My problem is this, "How do I administer the connections of a internet provider (guess on this part following) in Linux/by means of Linux? The question is as to the topology, covering/concerning all: how do you organize the telephone lines (revolving lines) and the modems (how many are needed, etc. etc.) so that my Linux works without problems. If someone has some of the information (links, notes, or simply knows something), please write and tell me (write that to me I think is the literal translation). * end translation * Heck, I know, some of you speak spanish, but it seems the spanish questions are largely ignored or answered off list. I don't know why. Anyway, I translated his request, respond either to him in spanish or me in english. If I get an answer for him in english I will give it my best shot to translate it to spanish and post it back here. (BTW, I am not likely to do this very often...) Apologies to the german and spanish newsgroups, I left you in so you will get my translation if it is needed when someone responds.
