I have just installed the 'workstation' option of Red Hat Linux 5.2 (Intel version). I then ran linuxconf. When i try to activate the changes i've made, i get the following error: " The command: /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S85gpm restart is taking longer than expected to complete. Please take action ... " after which it gives me the option of skipping, aborting or killing the command. I have tried this several times (sometimes not even changing anything in linuxconf, just pressing activate), with different window managers, and have even reformatted and reinstalled linux on the machine a few times. Any help on what this means and how to fix it would be much appreciated. -- David
