Dear Ron !
I have the same problem on a Win95/Linux dual boot machine.
AFAIK, Windoze can't handle a hardware clock set to GMT, which is what you'd
normally have on a Linux box, but expects to have Local Time, no matter what
time zone you select (at least so I've been told).
Fortunately, Linux can handle a clock at local time, even though it's somewhat
uncool for a unix-based system ;-)
Linux differenciates between system time and hardware time (see man hwclock for
details). Maybe this solves your problem.
Oh, please don't crosspost that much ! Some groups may not be appropriate to
your problem.
 Good luck,
Jo"rn
