I have a need to break the Oracle database and Apache web servers to be
able to scale the web servers to accommodate up to 150,000 concurrent
hits.  If I take the traditional approach I would arm two database
servers with max RAM and array web servers in front of it.  The actual
DB access are very low throughput and is not the issue.  The big issue
is the webservers and how well they scale.  Any experiences and
recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
