Just out of interest, once you pressed the ALT or CTRL or SHIFT key did you type in the partition name of your Linux partition? > /dev/hda3 is Linux native starting from cylinder 1018 to cylinder 1424, > so I presume there is nothing wrong with boundary problem (>1024). Well, there is a problem with the 1024 boundary under Linux, if you have the latest Linux CDROM, check out the mini-FAQs on it. It'll tell you how to set up your H/D for a drive that has greater than 1024 cylinders. > Disk 1 504 Megs 100% usage C: 330 Mb > D: 120 Mb > E: 50 Mb I would change your partition distribution, just give DOS one 100 MB partition, that's all it needs! ;-) I think that's what the main problem is. ;-) Linux gets a bit offended when it sees too much space reserved for DOS. ;-) -- +-------------FROM: Mick J Hellstrom--------------+ | Email:mick@jtec.com.au | Venimus, | | Ph: +61 2 390 0188 | Vidimus, | | | Dolavimus | | Cruci dum spiro fido | #include <std_discl.h> | +------------------------+------------------------+
