Can anyone help me around this problem. I have installed Linux
Version 1.2.3 from CDROM under the Slackware Version 2
installation release. Works fine. When I went to
install X11R6 (Xfree86-3.1) I found that the configuration
program supplied did not
recognize the chipset on my video card. It is a Trident 9448.
Nominating Trident 9440 did not work. Does anyone have a card
definition for the Trident 9448??
Or can you tell me what to do from here. Not real computer
literate.

Arthur
