Currently PnP stuff is best handled by pnpdump/isapnpconf. They have a rather crufty
modus operandi: you dump PnP configuration space to a file, edit it to uncomment
a setting that makes sense for your system and load the result:
pnpdump >/etc/isapnp.conf
vi /etc/isapnp.conf
isapnpconf /etc/isapnp.conf
As they say in the file, don't forget to uncomment the activate (ACT Y) when happy.
I understand that there is going to be PnP configuration in the kernel some day,
but this is the situation for now.
