It seems You did some mistakes on Your first setup!
All those messages point to one fact:
The Kernel you are booting does not fit onto the Hardware.
Do Yourself the favour and reinstall everything completely!
If you produced some valuable data within linux,
use 'tar' to archive it onto good FLOPPIES.
e.g.:
cd /home/me
tar -cvf /dev/fd0 .
Then, reinstall everything from the first step on!
(Don't delete Your DOS-Partition, there is no need for)
3.) lost+found
This dir exists on every UNIX-Partition and will be used
by fsck (or even fsck.ext2) if their file-system-check find
any problem onto that partition, which can't be corrected
without data losses. Somehow damaged files will be moved to
lost+found for further manual inspection by the sysadm.
(It's much more complicated then described, but why bothering
with facts from deep inside the filesystem ...)
4.) Lilo might be configured wrong. Check file /etc/lilo.conf
for any partition called 'sd...'. Read /etc/lilo/README
and adjust any mistaken entry within /etc/lilo.conf.
run /sbin/lilo afterwards to get the right boot.
(But, you really should reinstall from the beginning, it's
less work!)
greetings, niko
