A collegue has asked me to post requesting any comments users may have
on the relative merits of Scitor Project Scheduler 6 and Microsoft
Project 4. Reviews we've seen have placed them about equal, but some of
Scitors documentation suggests some problems with MS Project 4.
Any comments. I personally have used MS Project 3, and found it to be a
very useful tool.
Dave.

Infoworld published a comparison review a couple of months ago, their conclusion was that the Scitor product was the best (7.7 I think), while MS-Project 4.0 was second (7.1 or 7.0 I think). The things the faulted in MS-Project were the difficulty in handling multiple projects, and the need to have Access to get good reports. We are currently evaluating MS-Project 4, Timeline for Win, and I'm going to try and get an evaluation copy of Scitor's Project Scheduler 6. -- ================================================================ | Mark A.
