A customer hired me to do some OLE programming - exporting continuously
changing data to Excel &c. I've done maybe 80% or 90% of it - I can
create a live link between an OLE server app and Excel - but there are
still parts of the problem that I haven't been able to crack. I'm
feeling increasingly badly about charging my customer for 'barking up
the wrong tree'.
I'd like to find someone who has already done this - export live data,
with multiple "pseudo-objects" per file, to Excel and Word via
IDataObject's and IAdviseSink's - who can look at my (Delphi) code
and/or answer a few questions. I'm willing to pay a high hourly rate,
but don't anticipate this running more than maybe ten billable hours
over a period of a few days.
If you'd be interested in this, please send me email outlining your
relevant experience, or call me at 408-457-9360 between 10 and 10,
California time.
