DLL callbacks in VB

Hi -

Does anyone know if it is possible to register for callbacks from a DLL
within visual basic 2.0? In particular, I would like to open a midi input
device. The callback can either be to a function, or as a message posted
to a window. (I'd like to be able to do both).

Any suggestions appreciated.
