I am using Multiedit Prof. 6.1 (by American Cybernetics) and a
Postscript printer. The problem is that the PostScript setup
string included with the software does not include translation
from IBM codepage 437 international character codes to the
codes used by PostScript.

I have talked to their Tech. Support but they are only willing
to fix this if there is enough requests for it, which seems not
to be the case now.

I am not at all familiar with the PostScript language, but
perhaps someone out there has solved the problem already?

All help would be much appreciated.
