Free subscription criteria varies but basically it says that it is available for those who 'qualify'. I've no idea what that actually means. Both may be available in libraries for review and are available for paid subscription. InfoWorld currently runs $110/yr and PC Week $160 Infoworld can be reached at 800-457-7866. Editorial offices at MCI 259-4127 or CompuServe 73267,1537. Writers from the top down can be reached via email. The Publisher is bob_metcalfe@infoworld.com or MCI 524-1127 (5241127@mcimail.com) for internet users. PC Week can be reached at 609-461-2100. Ziff-Davis, the publisher, still seems to be in the dark ages as far as any electronic connectivity goes. They believe in nothing but the telephone and it's associated game called: TAG. Apperently there is a forum on CompuServe for Ziff but that's as far as it goes. Oh yes, Spencer Katt (Rumor Central) does have MCI SCATT and CompuServe 72631,107. I guess when they get desparate they do provide connectivity to the world. Needless to say the connectivity also bespeaks of the value of each magazine. InfoWorld seems to be in touch with the real world a lot quicker than PC Week. Fred -- W.
